October 31 -Second floor is almost complete!

After one month, construction is going on schedule. The main floor is about 70% complete. We are now able to see how the rooms will be laid out on the main level. Above is a view of the master bedroom and below is a view of the garage and inside the house. We are scheduled to pour the floor of the garage on Monday.

Up With the Walls

Up With The Walls!
The framing began this week and the basement is almost finished. It's amazing to watch how fast this goes up. Tomorrow, they are going to begin framing the first floor.

Here is Alysse staking claim to her play room in the middle of the basement. Below you can see the main floor and the garage. It took multiple loads of slate to fill in the garage and driveway.

October 8, 2008

This week they have poured our foundation walls and roughed in the plumbing for the basement. If the rain stops, they will pour our basement floor and begin filling in the garage.

Thursday, September 25th - We have footers!

We stopped by on Saturday to check the progress and to let the kids see where their new home will be. They were mostly concerned with the playground!!
